Ana Gonzales bio
Ana Gonzalez de Jorgenson comes from a musically inclined family. She was raised listening to traditional, old boleros along with traditional romantic and Ranchero songs. Ana is passionate about tangos and opera, as well as the dramatic shows that she attends. At age 16 she began singing and learning the piano with her mom. Flavio, a Mexican Tenor with a renowned reputation, began giving her a more intensive singing instruction. The School of Music of Guadalajara University and the School of Sacred Music of Toluca in Mexico furthered her education in music. Her early professional career was spent performing with various orchestras, chamber ensembles, and opera choirs in Guadalajara. When she moved in the United States, she performed as a member of the Fort Lauderdale Symphony Chorus. After 2002 she moved to southern California. She has performed solo Latin American music for private functions and as a member Ensemble XXI in Redlands. In addition to being a local performer and instructor and instructor, her passion for art and music has her engaged in a wide range of different projects. Ana is also a previous member of the Community Chorus of Redlands, the Inland Master Chorale, and the Performance Loft. Ana hopes, with her performance her love of Latin American traditional songs, to inspire a love, especially among the younger generation to keep this tradition vibrant.
